Welcome first-generation Anteaters, we’re ecstatic that you’re here! If you are the first in your family to go to college or your parent(s) didn’t graduate with a bachelor’s degree – regardless of whether you have a sibling that has – you are a member of the UCI ‘first to go’ community.
At UCI, we have a large community of First Generation students, faculty, and staff – all who are here to support you and your successes.

LARC Tutoring & Sponsorships
You may be eligible to enroll in a Learning Academic Resource Center tutorial at no cost to you. Opportunities for sponsorships are available through SSI and other campus departments.
ZotPASS
Download UCI’s Zotpass or login using the web page to find tutors in a variety of subjects, schedule tutoring appointments, and locate drop-in services with tutors and peer educators.

Basic Needs Center
UCI Basic Needs Center offers to help students meet their basic needs, with a food pantry, CalFresh Application Assistance, emergency housing, and consultations with social workers.
