Be sure to check out the policies and procedures for adding and dropping courses to move forward with either option. Meeting with your academic advisors can also help you make informed and accurate decisions.

Midterm projects, papers, and exams can come at any time during the quarter. To stay prepared, it’s important to keep up with your reading assignments, attend class consistently, and connect with peers from each of your classes.

One often underutilized way that students can prepare for midterms is to meet with their professors and teaching assistants during office hours. Connecting with your professors during office hours can offer insights into the best way to study for midterms and on what content may be covered on exams. It also helps you establish a network of individuals who can attest to your potential when it comes time to apply for jobs or an advanced degree.
