ROTC

Army ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) is one of the best leadership courses in the country. It is an Army leadership and field training program that runs during your normal school schedule. When you graduate, you will earn your commission and gold bar of a Second Lieutenant. It is the best way to get a feel for the Army and still lead a normal college life.

Underground Scholars

The UCI Underground Scholars Program creates a pathway for incarcerated, formerly incarcerated and system-impacted individuals into higher education. We prioritize our services for formerly incarcerated students and define system-impacted as a person who is negatively affected by the incarceration of a close relative. System-impacted also includes people who have been arrested and/or convicted without incarceration.

UCI Lifted

UCI LIFTED is leveraging and inspiring futures through educational degrees. We bring a world-class education to incarcerated students to lay the foundation for a new way of achieving decarceration in the state of California. We strive to move one step closer to the dream of allowing “anyone from anywhere” to educate themselves and develop the skills, tools, and relationships to help them achieve a better life.
